 Something new I learnt last week:

I learnt how to do tesselations while in lockdown.

Learning that I struggled with:

There wasnt much learning I struggled with.

How I managed myself:

I tried to manage myself while being in lockdown by completing all my work to a pretty high standard.

How I managed my learning:

I used the tracking sheet to manage my learning and track what I have been doing.

What is my goal for this week on being a better self manager/learner:

Completing my speech and making sure that i'm always on task.

Something new I learnt last week:

Last week I learnt the area of shapes.

Finding a topic to do my speech about.

I managed myself on my tracking sheet, by getting all my work done.

I sat with the right people and didnt get distracted.

What is my goal for this week?:

To complete my speech and learn most of it off by heart.

                         Here is my QR code for my inquiry about the Mount Erebus Air Crash. 

Today we learn't what a QR code is and what is the purpose for using one. To scan my QR code go into camera, scan it, then it should pop up with my inquiry presentation.

 Today we did a tally chart to find out what everyone's favourite colour was. We also looked at the most popular, least popular, most unique, etc.

Triathlon !

 Triathlon 2021

A few days ago we did the triathlon, we used screencastify to create a video about what we would change in the triathlon. Here's my video with my twist to it.

Harry sighed. It was a picture perfect view. But suddenly, the lake began to ripple. It made out to look like the outline of an animal crossed between a snake and shark. The monster looking creature had a slimy layer around it, sort of like clear jelly, Harry really started to worry as the shadow crept closer and closer towards him very quickly. He decided to run away as fast as he could until suddenly, he was in the middle of the forest. Harry looked around and then stared at his watch, it was nearly 9:30pm and he was still nowhere near home. Time for a new plan.

Hi I'm Madie. I am a year 8 at Gisborne Intermediate School. I have 3 siblings, leaving me as the oldest child. Some things I like doing is hanging with my friends, dancing and netball. This is my first year using a blog and my profile picture is ugly.
